Product innovation is essential part of company ́s success and modern product development relies on customer feedback as the source for innovation ideas. The customer feedback is also crucial in identification of necessary changes to the product. Gathering user data through cookies is major way how to get data on web pages. However, in January 2022 new law, which restricts use of cookies, come into force. The goal of the article is to analyse web pages of Czech spa resorts and its implementation of cookie banner which uses new opt-in approach. For the analysis, 127 web pages were analysed. From the results, it is evident, that only 70% of analysed web pages have correct cookie banner and almost 24% don ́t have cookie consent at all. Moreover, all of the analysed web pages which don ́t have cookie consent also uses third party cookies, especially from Google and Facebook. This alarming state is also explained thoroughly in the contribution

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design and create a prototype of automatic pipetting head that will be useful for pipetting in laboratories after attaching it to a robotic manipulator. In the beginning, a research about various types of automatic pipetting heads was made followed by a device design and component analysis. The prototype was made using 3D printing method and it utilises a peristaltic pump, Arduino microcontroller and Bluetooth interface. A measurement of repeatability and dispensing accuracy was made on the finished device. The results are evaluated in the conclusion.

Stress Corrosion Cracking of Structural Steels in High Temperature Water Environment

Import 18/12/2013Disertační práce se zabývá problematikou korozního praskání materiálů použitých při výrobě komponent parních generátorů (PG) VVER 440 a VVER 1000 ve vodním prostředí o vysoké teplotě a tlaku, konkrétně stádiem subkritického růstů trhlin. V její první části je posuzován vliv technologie výroby na odolnost nízkolegované bainitické oceli 10GN2MFA použité pro výrobu tlakové nádoby a primárních kolektorů PG VVER 1000 vůči koroznímu praskání. Ve druhé části práce byla hodnocena náchylnost heterogenního svarového spoje 22K - 08Ch18N10T PG VVER 440 ke koroznímu praskání na rozhrání základní materiál – I. návarová vrstva. Vedle porovnání svarových spojů české a ruské provenience byl posouzen vliv opakovaného tepelného zpracování a složení vodního prostředí na odolnost svarového spoje VÍTKOVICKÉ provenience vůči subkritickému růstu trhliny. The PhD thesis is dealing with problems of stress corrosion cracking of materials used for components of steam generators WWER 440 and WWER 1000 in high temperature water environment, especially with subcritical crack growth stage. Influence of production technology on stress corrosion cracking resistivity of low – alloyed bainitic steel 10GN2MFA used for pressure vessels and primary collectors SG WWER 1000 is determined in the first part. Evaluation of stress corrosion cracking susceptibility of heterogeneous weld joint 22K – 08Ch18N10T SG WWER 440 on the base material – I. weld deposit interface was carried out in the second part. Comparison of heterogeneous weld joints of Czech and Russian provenance was performed at first and subsequently influence of repeated heat treatment and water environment composition on subcritical crack growth resistivity of heterogeneous weld joint of VITKOVICE technology was evaluated.Prezenční636 - Katedra materiálového inženýrstvívyhově

ON CONSTRUCTION OF A RELIABLE GROUND TRUTH FOR EVALUATION OF VISUAL SLAM ALGORITHMS

    Get PDF
In this work we are concerning the problem of localization accuracy evaluation of visual-based Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) techniques. Quantitative evaluation of the SLAM algorithm performance is usually done using the established metrics of Relative pose error and Absolute trajectory error which require a precise and reliable ground truth. Such a ground truth is usually hard to obtain, while it requires an expensive external localization system. In this work we are proposing to use the SLAM algorithm itself to construct a reliable ground-truth by offline frame-by-frame processing. The generated ground-truth is suitable for evaluation of different SLAM systems, as well as for tuning the parametrization of the on-line SLAM. The presented practical experimental results indicate the feasibility of the proposed approach

ON EVALUATION OF MOTION GAITS ENERGY EFFICIENCY WITH A HEXAPOD CRAWLING ROBOT

    Get PDF
In this work, we are concerning the problem of energy efficient locomotion of a hexapod crawling robot. We are emphasizing a practical verification and deployment on a real walking robot to evaluate relations between the energy consumption, motion speed, and terrain type with a particular motion gait. The tripod, tetrapod, and pentapod motion gaits are considered in the presented evaluation report

Perceived Usefulness of Various Types of Customer Feedback Viewed by Managers of SMEs in the Czech Republic

    Get PDF
The article consists of preliminary research on different approaches to customer feedback on a product and its perceived usefulness. The research was conducted by sending a web questionnaire to selected managers of SMEs. The results show that there is a statistically significant positive perception of customer feedback with a positive influence on product improvement and marketing communication by managers of SMEs based in Prague or Brno. The second part of the research found that from all examined customer feedback approaches, only the social media approach is not perceived as (positively) useful by managers of SMEs. The final part of the research found that there is a statistically significant correlation between the results of the question “Does customer feedback improve your product?” and the perceived usefulness of every individual customer feedback. To calculate the results, the One-Sample Wilcoxon Test was primarily used along with Pearson´s correlation which was used to identify correlations between selected variables

    FPGA-based module for SURF extraction

    Get PDF
We present a complete hardware and software solution of an FPGA-based computer vision embedded module capable of carrying out SURF image features extraction algorithm. Aside from image analysis, the module embeds a Linux distribution that allows to run programs specifically tailored for particular applications. The module is based on a Virtex-5 FXT FPGA which features powerful configurable logic and an embedded PowerPC processor. We describe the module hardware as well as the custom FPGA image processing cores that implement the algorithm's most computationally expensive process, the interest point detection. The module's overall performance is evaluated and compared to CPU and GPU based solutions. Results show that the embedded module achieves comparable disctinctiveness to the SURF software implementation running in a standard CPU while being faster and consuming significantly less power and space. Thus, it allows to use the SURF algorithm in applications with power and spatial constraints, such as autonomous navigation of small mobile robots
